Meet Marshall a total sweetheart! He is approx., 52 pounds and is estimated at 1 year old. Marshall was rescued just in time out of an Alabama kill shelter we believe Lab/Pointer mix. He is housebroken, great with other dogs, and loving towards people. He is quiet and doesn’t bark much. Marshall is intimidated and anxious around men, but his foster dad is working with him on it. Sadly, it indicates he was mistreated by a man at one point. He does fairly well on a leash, but definitely being so young requires obedience and more leash training. He is very food-motivated so can easily be trained. He shows some Labrador traits like counter surfing, but he does understand “Back” and learning “No”. He is still a little unsure on how to be a dog, but his fur foster brother is teaching him the ropes! He will do best in a home with adults and the youngest teens since he is still a puppy. He will require a fenced-in yard and a family willing to give him plenty of love, time, and patience. Marshall is such a precious boy that is so deserving of a forever home.
